| Description: | Provide technical support over the telephone & the web to customers. Keeping records of each call by asking the customer for identifying information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Listens to customer's service issues and assesses issues that need to be addressed in a professional manner
· Inputting customer information in the computer to track all customers' history
· Assists customers in finding solutions to the technical problems they are experiencing
· Offers quality customer service and product support of specific client applications
· Introduces new products offered by our clients to enhance customer's future technical needs
· Insures that the needs of the customer are met
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Excellent customer service skills
· Effective communicating and writing skills
· Ability to listen effectively and understand the customers problem(s)
· Ability to work well with individuals who are frustrated
· Knowledge of computer software including: Windows 95/98/XP, Microsoft Outlook, and the Internet
· Ability to learn and stay updated with applications that change regularly
· Ability to be trained in all aspects of client products including product installation and product solutions
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or GED required; one-year customer service experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Seeing: Must be able to read computer screens and documents in assisting customers with computer problems
Hearing: Must be able to hear customers speaking over the telephone
Mobility: Must be able to sit at workstation for long periods of time
